TActix, a tech recruitment agency, wanted to own its marketing site outright: the code in Git, hosting on Vercel, and no Webflow interactions fighting the design. We exported the site, rebuilt the fragile parts and switched the domain over without losing a single URL.

How it went
Export and clean up
Exported the Webflow site and committed it as the starting point.
Renamed images whose filenames had spaces and brackets, which broke on a static host.
Removed the unused search page and Webflow's branding comments.
Replace the fragile interactions
Rebuilt the six service flip cards in plain CSS, with tap support on touch screens and keyboard focus.
Fixed testimonial cards that Safari sometimes failed to draw. Two animations were competing on each card, so we kept one fade-in and switched off Webflow's.
Nav link underlines now slide in from the side the cursor enters.
Every animation respects the visitor's reduced-motion setting.
Switch the domain
Pointed thetactix.co at Vercel at the registrar and confirmed the SSL certificate.
thetactix.co redirects to www.thetactix.co, which keeps the URLs Google already knew.
Vercel's own tactix-2026.vercel.app address redirects to the real domain, so there is no duplicate copy of the site.
Protect search rankings
Clean URLs, so links like /jobs work without .html.
Added robots.txt and a sitemap, and set utility pages to noindex.
Rewrote titles and descriptions, and added Open Graph and Twitter tags with a share image hosted on the site.
Replaced invalid structured data with Organization, Service, Article and breadcrumb markup.
Merged the homepage's duplicate H1 into one and added alt text to client logos.
Results
Every old Webflow URL loads at the same address on the new stack.
No images or share cards are served from Webflow any more.
All nine public pages pass a check of titles, descriptions, canonical URLs, social tags and structured data.
Any change can be tried on a private Vercel preview first, and any release rolled back in seconds.
